UNDERSTANDING HOMEOPATHY

Homeopathy- Beyond The Diagnosis

Treating The Person, Not Just The Diagnosis

In homeopathy, diagnosis is not limited to the disease label. While pathology identifies structural changes in tissues and organs, homeopathy also considers the functional disturbances and individual symptoms a patient experiences.

Homeopathy is a traditional and complementary system of medicine. Practitioners believe it works by gently stimulating the body's own healing response, working at a functional level rather than treating a diagnosis label alone.

Its exact biological mechanism is still debated in mainstream science, but it has been safely practised for over two centuries and is recognised by India's Ministry of AYUSH as a national system of medicine.

Homeopathy does not treat merely a "label" such as arthritis, typhoid, or asthma. It focuses on the whole person — physical, mental and emotional — aiming to support the body's natural balance from the individual symptom to the overall constitution.

PRINCIPLES OF HOMEOPATHY

The core principles that form the foundation of homeopathic practice

Law of Similars

The fundamental principle’s Similia Similibus Curentur’s - like cures like. A substance that can produce symptoms in a healthy person can cure similar symptoms in a sick person.

Law of Minimum Dose

The remedy is given in the smallest possible dose to stimulate the body’s natural healing response without causing side effects or toxicity.

Single Remedy

Only one remedy is prescribed at a time, carefully chosen based on the totality of symptoms to address the root cause of illness.

Individualization

Each patient is unique. Treatment is customized based on individual symptoms, constitution, and life circumstances rather than disease labels.
