Gupta Computerised Homeopathic and Skin Clinic
Homeopathy treats warts, corns, and skin tags by addressing the underlying causes—HPV viral infection (for warts), mechanical hyperkeratosis (for corns), or benign epithelial proliferation (for skin tags)—rather than merely burning or freezing lesions. Most patients experience visible darkening and natural sloughing within 4–6 weeks, with complete painless removal and scar-free healing within 8–12 weeks, preventing recurrence and secondary spread.
We offer evidence-based constitutional homeopathic care for patients in Delhi and NCR dealing with viral warts, plantar corns, calluses, and recurring skin tags. Unlike laser burning, cryotherapy freezing, and salicylic acid maceration that leave scars and high recurrence rates, our treatment removes lesions painlessly from the base without tissue damage.
Warts, corns, and skin tags are three distinct dermatological conditions affecting millions of people worldwide, yet they are often poorly managed by conventional medicine. Viral warts (caused by HPV infection) are treated with painful laser burning or cryotherapy that leaves deep roots intact, causing painful recurrence and scarring. Mechanical corns and calluses are managed with salicylic acid caps and corn pads that macerate tissue without addressing pressure mechanics, leading to rapid recurrence. Skin tags (benign acrochordons) are surgically excised or cauterized, leaving scars and high recurrence rates in predisposed individuals.
At Gupta Computerised Homeopathic Clinic, Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Neeraj Gupta treats all three conditions constitutionally. For viral warts, individualized remedies stimulate cellular immunity against HPV, allowing immune clearance of infected keratinocytes and natural painless sloughing from the base. For mechanical corns, remedies reduce pathological keratinization and pressure sensitivity, allowing natural resorption of hyperkeratotic tissue. For skin tags, remedies address the constitutional predisposition to epithelial proliferation, allowing natural involution and prevention of secondary growth. The result: painless natural removal without laser burns, cryotherapy blisters, salicylic acid wounds, or surgical scars—combined with prevention of recurrence and secondary lesions within 8–12 weeks.
Conditions we treat
Viral lesions, mechanical calluses, and benign growths
Plantar warts on sole of foot with deep vascular root
Palmar and digital warts on hands and fingers
Facial flat warts on face and neck
Subungual and periungual warts under and around nails
Deep foot corns with painful core from pressure
Seed corns on heel and ball of foot
Skin tags on neck, armpits, and groin
Multiple recurring skin tags with predisposition
Understanding the conditions
Three distinct conditions requiring different approaches
Warts, corns, and skin tags are fundamentally different dermatological conditions that are often confused with each other, leading to failed treatment.
Viral warts are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection of skin keratinocytes. They appear as raised lesions (often with a cauliflower texture) and bleed pinpoint dots when scraped. They spread via direct contact or minor skin trauma.
Mechanical corns are pressure-induced hyperkeratotic lesions lacking HPV infection. They are thick, hardened keratin plugs from chronic pressure and friction on feet. Unlike warts, they don't bleed and don't spread.
Skin tags (acrochordons) are benign epithelial growths (pedunculated benign tumors) that appear as small, soft dangles on neck, armpits, or groin. They reflect a constitutional predisposition to epithelial proliferation, often associated with insulin resistance or genetic tendency.
Viral warts (verruca vulgaris, verruca plantaris) are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection of skin keratinocytes. They appear as raised, often cauliflower-textured lesions with pinpoint bleeding when scraped, and spread via direct contact or minor skin trauma. Mechanical corns and calluses, by contrast, are pressure-induced hyperkeratotic lesions lacking HPV infection—thick, hardened keratin plugs from chronic pressure/friction. These two conditions require fundamentally different treatments: antiviral immunity for warts, pressure relief and keratinization reduction for corns. Confusing the two leads to failed treatment.
Laser burning vaporizes surface wart tissue but often leaves the deep vascular root and basal keratinocytes intact—infected HPV remains, causing painful recurrence within weeks to months. Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen freezing) creates painful blisters and can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or depigmentation but similarly leaves HPV roots viable. Salicylic acid maceration softens and exfoliates superficial tissue but doesn't eradicate viral infection and creates slow-healing wounds. For corns, topical corn caps and salicylic acid provide temporary softening without addressing pressure mechanics or underlying keratinization, leading to recurrence. Surgical excision and cautery of skin tags remove the visible lesion but leave the predisposition intact, allowing rapid new growth.
Constitutional remedies stimulate Th1 and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CD8+) immunity against HPV, allowing immune recognition and clearance of infected keratinocytes. As immunity improves, infected cells naturally undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death). The wart darkens (as vascular supply diminishes), dries, and painlessly detaches from the base over 4–8 weeks, leaving no open wound, no burn, and no scar—just new healthy skin underneath. This natural immune-driven removal prevents recurrence because HPV infection is completely cleared rather than merely suppressed.
Constitutional remedies reduce pathological keratinization and improve pressure tolerance of skin. As keratinization decreases and tissue perfusion improves, the hardened keratin core gradually softens, darkens, and separates from surrounding tissue over 4–8 weeks. The corn naturally sloughs away, leaving normal skin. Complementary advice (pressure-relief footwear, orthotic inserts, gait modification) prevents recurrence. Unlike salicylic acid or corn pads, this approach addresses the root hyperkeratinization rather than temporary maceration.
Constitutional remedies address the underlying predisposition to benign epithelial proliferation and vascular proliferation. Existing tags gradually reduce in size over weeks, darken at the base, and naturally slough away or shrivel. Most importantly, the constitutional predisposition decreases: patients with a history of rapid new tag formation report significantly fewer new tags developing after 6 months of treatment. Prevention is the true advantage over surgical excision, which addresses only the visible lesion without modifying recurrence risk.
